Guard Card Armed courses

This course is for anyone that currently does not have a guard card and would like to become an Armed Security Officer. 

This MOD A is the first required 8 hours to obtain your license.  

Just because you get your Guard Card with MOD A you still need MOD B and MOD C to complete the required training.  

This includes the armed livescan required.

*This does not include certification for exposed carry. 

BSIS Exposed Firearm permit only. 

This includes class portion and range qualification.

*Must have current guard card completed prior to obtaining permit. 

*BSIS requires psychological examination that is not included with this course. It is required to complete examination prior to purchasing course. 

DO NOT PURCHASE UNTIL YOU HAVE TAKEN YOUR PSI PSYCH EVAL.

 Examinations are designed to determine proficiency of the applicant to engage in the business for which the license is required.

DT-OC does not host examinations, the link below will send you to the 3rd party site BSIS uses to schedule.

BSIS requires qualification with your firearms quarterly to maintain your BSIS firearms certification. Click the schedule button below to email us and schedule your 2-hour refresher course PRIOR to going to the range for qualification.  Classes are held weekly at the office.  Includes range fee and multiple (up to 3) firearm caliber qualification.
